This panorama depicts the Big Ten/ACC challenge game for the Indiana Hoosiers as they host the North Carolina Tar Heels at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The historic arena was transformed in 2016 by a $45 million renovation that not only preserved, but enhanced the greatest home court advantage in college basketball. The renovations to the arena included improvements to the north and south lobbies, a new club suite on the concourse level, a large state-of-the-art video scoreboard, the new Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media and Technology, as well as many other enhancements and modern amenities. The remodeled facility has a seating capacity of 17,222 and continues to be one of the nation’s loudest and toughest home arenas.
